Dr. E. Sreedharan, Principal Advisor, LMRC, today visited Lucknow Metro and reviewed the progress of the on-going Metro construction going on for the balance 15 kms of the Project being executed covering the Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport Metro Station, 3.67 km Husainganj, Sachivalaya and Hazratganj underground section and the elevated Metro stretch between the K. D. Singh Stadium Metro Station & Munshipulia Station.

He along with Shri Kumar Keshav, Managing Director, Lucknow Metro first visited the Munshipulia Metro Station site in the morning to assess the pace of the Metro work. Moving ahead, they inspected the work going on for the 220 KV Receiving Sub Station (RSS) near Polytechnic. Both of them then travelled along the Metro route inspecting the elevated corridor and all the eight elevated Metro Stations along the Metro route between Munshipulia and K. D. Singh Stadium.

Dr. E. Sreedharan also analysed the civil work going over the Gomti River for constructing a special balanced cantilever Metro span (bridge) of 175 meters (Central Span
