LMRC STARTS CLEANILINESS DRIVE AT ITS METRO STATIONS UNDER SWACHH BHARAT MISSION

To support the campaign of Swachta Bharat Mission started by Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India with a motto to encourage people for making India a green and clean nation, Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation today started a cleanliness drive at its all Metro stations. This mission will proceed till 02.10.2017 i.e. 150th Birth Commemoration of Mahatma Gandhi.
The officials and staff of LMRC divided in different groups and reached the Metro stations at 9.00 AM to start this noble mission. They started the cleanliness drive for keeping Lucknow Metro a clean and green mode of Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) for the people of Lucknow.
On this occasion Shri. Kumar Keshav (Managing Director, Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation) started the drive at the surrounding premises of Charbagh Metro Station and appealed the costermongers to support Lucknow Metro in this drive and asked them to keep a dustbin along their cart to avoid the garbage thrown by their customers on the street.
