LMRC COMPLETES THE TRACK LAYING OF DOWNLINE TUNNEL; TO COMMENCE METRO OPERATIONS VERY SOON IN THE UNDERGROUND SECTION

Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) has achieved another milestone while completing the work for the underground section between the K. D. Singh Stadium Metro station ramp & Charbagh Metro station ramp by completing the track laying work in the DOWNLINE tunnel. Track laying work in the UPLINE tunnel had already been completed and LMRC is planning to commence Metro operations very soon in the Underground section.

Lucknow Metro today repeated its historic feet by successfully completing the erection of a 60 Meter Special Steel Span near Nishatganj over the main line Railway operational track at the location. This achievement has been accomplished by the LMRC Engineer under the leadership of Shri. Kumar Keshav, Managing Director in just 5 days without hampering the movement of the mainline railway and the vehicular traffic plying along the adjacent Indra Bridge.
